Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Air Academy drops to Rampart

January 5, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80920

Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO) fans left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), 7-2 in a non-league match.

The Rams (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets enter the 4A South match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Pueblo County was trounced by Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 5-0, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Kadets encounter the Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Air Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 7-2 league win over Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO).
