In Friday's league challenge, the Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA) ice hockey team the visiting Trinity-Pawling School Pride (Pawling, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

The Spartans now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canterbury School for a challenge on Saturday, January 6. Lawrence Academy will clash with a Saints team coming off a 3-2 league win over Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Saints record now stands at 7-5.

The Pride (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Worcester Academy by Canterbury School (New Milford, CT), 3-2, in a league challenge.
