Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amundsen Vikings (Chicago, IL), 61-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Niles West upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to play the Giants in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Giants go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Vikings play the Senn Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Amundsen will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
