California High School Basketball - Anderson tops Orland

January 5, 2024: Orland, CA 95963

Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Orland Trojans (Orland, CA), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anderson upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to University Prep (Redding, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 11-5. University Prep won 64-33 in their recent non-league bout against Corning (Corning, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Orland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
