Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), saw Broughton's basketball squad hold off Wakefield by a tally of 61-54.
With the victory, Broughton improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Capitals host Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Wakefield will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record.
