Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mullen upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Legend (Parker, CO) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Legend lost 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 57-56 non-league win over ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO).
