The Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA) basketball nipped the visiting Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA), 51-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA). The Scots go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Shorecrest was tipped by Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA), 68-28, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host King's for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Mountlake Terrace will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 59-27 non-league win over Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
