In Sunday's league contest, the host Attleboro Bombardiers basketball team scored a close 57-52 win over the Mansfield Hornets.
The Bombardiers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA). The Tigers come into the Hockomock contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Oliver Ames edged King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA), 73-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Sharon Eagles (Sharon, MA) in a Hockomock contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mansfield will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 45-32 league loss to King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA).
