With the victory, Xaverian advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Clippers host Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY) to meet the Kingsmen in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Kingsmen enter the battle with a record of 7-4.
The Crusaders now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a Catholic AA - New York battle on Tuesday, January 7. Monsignor Scanlan will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 84-75 league loss to St. Raymond Boys (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
