The Cornerstone Eagles (Birmingham, AL) basketball knocked off the host Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL), 32-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL). The Eagles go into the 1A Area 11 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Sumiton Christian notched a victory over Jemison (Jemison, AL), 59-48, in a non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Cordova for a 5A Area 12 test on Friday, January 7.
