The Holgate Tigers (Holgate, OH) basketball felled the visiting Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH), 42-29 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Ayersville (Defiance, OH). The Pilots go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Ayersville thwarted Hicksville (Hicksville, OH), 32-28, in a league test.
The Blackbirds now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a Buckeye Border test on Thursday, January 13.
