Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona crushes Tekamah-Herman

West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE), 48-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Monona upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to River Valley (Correctionville, IA) to clash with the Wolverines in a Western Valley - North bout on Friday, January 7. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-5. River Valley lost 70-21 in their recent non-league bout against Hinton (Hinton, IA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast Wolverines (Bancroft, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 62-27 non-league win over West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE).
