The Alcester-Hudson Cubs basketball team (Alcester, SD), was overwhelmed 70-20 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD)
The Huskies now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canistota for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10.
The Cubs (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Avon (Avon, SD). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Avon was overwhelmed by Wagner (Wagner, SD), 62-34, in a non-league battle.
