The Holy Savior Menard Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Alexandria Country Day Tigers to 29 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwood for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Holy Savior Menard will battle a Gators team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Gators record now stands at 17-3.

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Mustangs come into the B District 5 contest with a 12-8 record.
