The Covenant Knights basketball team (Dallas, TX), was nudged 41-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting All Saints Episcopal Trojans (Tyler, TX)

The Trojans now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dallas Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. All Saints Episcopal will confront a Chargers team coming off a 48-47 league win over Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-13.

The Knights (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX). The Mustangs come into the TAPPS 4A District 2 battle with a 22-7 record. In their last battle, McKinney Christian Academy edged Vanguard College Prep (Waco, TX), 86-53, in a league battle.
