The Johnson Bayou Rebels basketball team (Cameron, LA), was nudged 48-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA)
The Eagles now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bartlett for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Archbishop Shaw will confront a Panthers team coming off a 48-39 non-league win over Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
The Rebels (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Starks (Starks, LA). The Panthers come into the C District 4 battle with a 4-12 record.
