The Auburndale Apaches (Auburndale, WI) basketball crushed the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), 68-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Apaches (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Wildcats go into the Marawood - South test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Edgar was trounced by Mosinee (Mosinee, WI), 62-48, in a non-league test.
The Screaming Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a Marawood - North test on Tuesday, January 10. Chequamegon will clash with a Bluejays squad coming off a 73-57 league win over Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-2.
