The Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD), 80-60 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wolves (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Benedictine went down by St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA), 57-54, in a league test.

The Black Knights now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Lanham Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 20.
