Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 69-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fitch upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Presidents in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Presidents go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Harding lost 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Weston (Weston, CT)

Next up, the Bobcats play the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Bacon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 69-51 league win over New London (New London, CT).
