Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH), 55-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Crestview upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Arlington (Arlington, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Arlington won 54-32 in their recent league bout against McComb (McComb, OH)

Next up, the Pirates play the Fort Jennings Musketeers (Fort Jennings, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Bluffton will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Musketeers come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 51-36 league loss to Kalida (Kalida, OH).
