The Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) basketball felled the visiting Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH), 55-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Temple Christian was beaten by New London (New London, OH), 66-23, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Crestview for a Northwest test on Friday, January 6. Bluffton will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 65-45 non-league win over Ottoville (Ottoville, OH). The Knights record now stands at 7-1.
