The Canby Lancers (Canby, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN), 62-51 in Friday's league test.
The Lancers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Minneota (Minneota, MN). The Vikings go into the A Section 3 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Minneota notched a victory over Renville County West (Renville, MN), 69-34, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a A Section 3 test on Monday, January 9. Lac qui Parle Valley will encounter a Lakers team coming off a 74-35 league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 8-1.
