The Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) basketball nipped the host Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI), 38-35 in Friday's non-league test.
The Marauders (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears go into the Downriver test with a 1-5 record.
The Chiefs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Flat Rock for a Huron test on Tuesday, January 10. Huron will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Saline (Saline, MI). The Rams record now stands at 6-2.
