In Friday's non-league outing, the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA) basketball squad edged the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), by a count of 45-39.
The Stormin' Pointers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Marion (Marion, IA). The Wolves go into the WAMAC - West outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Marion held off Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 86-45, in a league outing.
