Texas High School Basketball - Gilmer overwhelmed by Center

The Gilmer Buckeyes basketball team (Gilmer, TX), was overwhelmed 81-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX)

The Roughriders now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henderson for a 4A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Center will battle a Lions team coming off a 58-33 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-16.

The Buckeyes (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region III District 17 battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill trounced Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 66-32, in a league battle.
