The Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Rudolf Steiner Storm to 42 in the Sentinels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sentinels now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huron Valley Lutheran for a Michigan Independent - Red contest on Tuesday, January 10. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will battle a Hawks team coming off a 66-40 non-league loss to Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.

The Storm (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit was routed by Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI), 54-40, in a league contest.
