Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Christian Liberty (Arlington Heights, IL), 40-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Christian Life upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Eagles host South Beloit (South Beloit, IL) to play the Sobos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Sobos go into the bout with a record of 11-3. South Beloit lost 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Dixon (Dixon, IL)

Next up, the play the Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL) in a Illinois Christian bout, on Monday, January 9. Christian Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 66-55 league win over HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL).
