Virginia High School Basketball - Norfolk Academy can't hold off Collegiate

The Collegiate Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs to 50 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Collegiate will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 73-44 non-league win over Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-2.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Oaks enter the Tidewater Independent contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Collegiate nudged TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA), 96-51, in a non-league contest.
