In Friday's non-league outing, the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) basketball squad nipped the visiting Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY), by a margin of 52-45.

The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Shenendehowa got by Averill Park (Averill Park, NY), 46-23, in a league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Shaker for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Columbia will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 53-49 non-league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Bison record now stands at 6-2.
