California High School Basketball - Rio Hondo Prep falls to Edgewood

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Edgewood Lions basketball team scored a good 58-47 triumph over the Rio Hondo Prep Kares.
In their next game, the Lions meet the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte match, on Tuesday, January 10. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 54-43 non-league loss to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA).
With the defeat, Rio Hondo Prep moves to 4-14 on the year. The Kares host Providence (Burbank, CA) to meet the Pioneers in a Prep match on Tuesday, January 10. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 9-9. Providence won 46-38 in their recent non-league match against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA)
