The George Junior Republic basketball team (Grove City, PA), was overwhelmed 87-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA)

The Steelers now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sharpsville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Farrell will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-6.

The (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Muskies come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Jamestown trounced Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA), 84-42, in a non-league battle.
