The Floyd Broncos basketball team (Floyd, NM), was overwhelmed 57-16 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM)
The Buffaloes now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grady for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Melrose will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 75-68 non-league win over Elida (Elida, NM). The Bronchos record now stands at 4-4.
The Broncos (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record.
