The Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR), 71-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their test against The Dalles (The Dalles, OR). The Riverhawks go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, The Dalles was trounced by Willamette (Eugene, OR), 59-36, in a non-league test.
The Gladiators now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Gladstone will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 77-40 non-league win over St. Helens (St. Helens, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 9-1.
