Texas High School Basketball - Goliad can't hold off San Diego

The San Diego Vaqueros basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Goliad Tigers to 67 in the Vaqueros non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laredo LBJ for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. San Diego will battle a Wolves team coming off a 54-49 non-league win over Mission (Mission, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 14-9.
The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Karnes City (Karnes City, TX). The Badgers enter the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Karnes City was nudged by Blanco (Blanco, TX), 60-49, in a non-league contest.
