The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish basketball team (Pontiac, MI), dropped 71-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Goodrich Spartans (Goodrich, MI)

The Spartans now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corunna for a Flint Metro battle on Tuesday, January 10. Goodrich will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 65-39 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-1.

The Fighting Irish (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Groves (Beverly Hills, MI). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Groves beat Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 40-25, in a non-league battle.
