The Grace Baptist Academy Flyers (Ocean Springs, MS) basketball crushed the host Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA), 73-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Flyers (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Morris Jeff Community (New Orleans, LA). The Pelicans go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Morris Jeff Community was trounced by Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 71-25, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Family Christian for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Pope John Paul II will encounter a Flames squad coming off a 38-35 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Flames record now stands at 10-6.
