Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 66-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Lancers travel to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA) to play the Toreadors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Toreadors go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Taft lost 77-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA) in a Valley Mission bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Pythons go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 70-22 non-league loss to Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
