In Friday's league outing, the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA), by a margin of 62-41.

The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Warhawks go into the South Iowa Cedar outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, North Mahaska smashed Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 77-29, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Saydel for a non-league outing on Monday, January 9. H-L-V will meet a Eagles team coming off a 75-53 league loss to Perry (Perry, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
