In Friday's non-league outing, the Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA) basketball squad edged the host Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA), by a margin of 57-50.
The Hornets (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAAA Region 7 outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Woodland was tipped by East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 68-38, in a non-league outing.
The Hoyas now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host North Paulding for a AAAAAAA Region 3 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Harrison will clash with a Wolfpack squad coming off a 67-35 non-league loss to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 7-9.
