The Hinckley-Big Rock Royals basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Somonauk Bobcats to 59 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hiawatha for a Little Ten contest on Tuesday, January 10. Hinckley-Big Rock will battle a Hawks team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-13.

The Bobcats (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Plano was defeated by Morris (Morris, IL), 63-52, in a league contest.
