Holy Cross Crusaders (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), 46-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Grady (Lenorah, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Grady won 36-26 in their recent non-league bout against Jal (Jal, NM)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, January 13. Loop will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
