Native American Community Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Native American Community Academy upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Pine Hill lost 71-57 in their recent non-league bout against Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Wolves play the Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Hozho Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 66-17 non-league loss to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
