In Friday's non-league outing, the McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hyde Park Panthers (Austin, TX), by a count of 65-18.

The Knights (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast Early College (Austin, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region III District 24 outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Northeast Early College was crushed by Crockett (Austin, TX), 57-36, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael's for a TAPPS 5A District 3 outing on Tuesday, January 17.
