The Kenai Central Kardinals basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Unalakleet Wolfpack to 51 in the Kardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Kardinals now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nome-Beltz for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Kenai Central will battle a Nanooks team coming off a 64-59 league win over Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK). The Nanooks record now stands at 6-1.
The Wolfpack (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Kotzebue was defeated by Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK), 64-59, in a league bout.
