The Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints (Kerkhoven, MN), 61-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lakers (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen go into the A Section 3 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Edgerton went down by Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN), 81-40, in a league test.

The Fighting Saints now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10.
