Kittson Central/Lancaster Bearcats (Hallock, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), 68-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Kittson Central/Lancaster upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bearcats host Roseau (Roseau, MN) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Bears play the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics (Newfolden, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Monday, January 9. Lake of the Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Nordics go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 83-57 league win over Stephen-Argyle Central (Stephen, MN).
