Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central topples Sandburg

In Friday's non-league outing, the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), by a margin of 58-48.

The Knights (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the SouthWest Suburban - Red outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Bradley-Bourbonnais was topped by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 64-50, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Sandburg will clash with a Steelmen squad coming off a 60-59 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 5-11.
