The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) basketball nipped the host Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), 57-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their test against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, North Cedar was tipped by East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 55-45, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Alburnett for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10.
