Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL), 52-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Martinsville upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Bluestreaks host Chrisman (Chrisman, IL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Chrisman lost 74-47 in their recent league bout against Oakwood (Fithian, IL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) in a National Trail bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Neoga will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 55-23 non-league win over Paris (Paris, IL).
