Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wrenshall Wrens (Wrenshall, MN), 94-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Moose Lake/Willow River upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Rebels host East Central (Sandstone, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Wrens play the Carlton Bulldogs (Carlton, MN) in a A Section 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Wrenshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 54-45 non-league loss to Barnum (Barnum, MN).
